Code Administration

The City of Lebanon Code Administration Department is responsible for administering and enforcing codes as set forth by the Lebanon City Council. These codes regulate the construction, use and occupancy of buildings and structures. Inspections are performed on residential and commercial buildings to assure the buildings are up to code and are safe for occupancy. We have ICC certified inspectors on staff to assist in the inspections.

All permits, including building, remodeling, electric, water, sewer, fence, pool, accessory building and others are issued through this department.

The Code Administration Department also administers all zoning, building, access management and subdivision ordinances through two boards, the Planning and Zoning and the Board of Adjustments.

The Code Administration Department administer and enforce nuisance ordinances such as tall grass, trash, unlicensed vehicles and others.
